Free pressure canner dial gauge testing in Homer. Bring your dial gauge (and pressure canner if you would like that checked as well). Cooperative Extension Service publications on food preservation will be available. Please have your gauge tested yearly for accuracy.

KDLL, public radio for the central Kenai Peninsula, has its annual on-air Spring Membership Drive from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 27 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 28 on 91.9 FM. Tune in for special live programming, best-of episodes of favorite feature shows, special guests and more. All proceeds donated this year support KDLL's new Report For America position. Report For America places trained reporters in "news deserts" across the country, bringing quality journalism to important issues that aren't getting adequate attention.
