It wasn’t all tension, outrage and portent at Monday night’s Kenai Peninsula Borough School District Board of Education meeting in Homer. Before hours of empassioned testimony in support of teachers, four students from Kachemak Selo School — Anna Martushev, Zaseem Reutov, Antonina Snegirev and Severian Reutov — read excerpts from articles they wrote for their school publication. Mike Wojciak, principal of Kachemak Selo and Voznesenka schools, introduced them.
