The central Kenai Peninsula is home to two federally recognized Alaska Native organizations, the Kenaitze Indian Tribe and the Salamatof Tribe. On this episode of the Kenai Conversation, we’re joined by Bernadine Atchison, Kenaitze Indian Tribe chairperson, and Charmaine Lundy, a member of the Salamatof Tribal Council. We spoke of their respective tribes' history, values and struggles.
