Steel and aluminum tariffs double

U.S. tariffs on steel and aluminum doubled Wednesday as President Trump continues to raise levies on imports in his ongoing trade war. Tariffs on imported steel and aluminum are up to 50% from 25%.

NPR chief economics correspondent Scott Horsley joins us to discuss how the tariffs are impacting the global economy.
