Foster Forum: A Statewide Conversation on Care

Foster Forum: A Statewide Conversation on Care
The Resource Family Advisory Board invites licensed foster parents across Alaska to a virtual Foster Forum on Thurs., August 7, from 12–1 p.m. (Alaska Standard Time).
Hosted in partnership with the Alaska Center for Resource Families (ACRF) and the Alaska Office of Children’s Services (OCS), this one-hour forum will include a welcome and update from the OCS director, highlighting progress made in response to past family feedback. Agenda topics will include budget updates and augmented rates, OCS staff recruitment and travel requirements, and an update on respite care.
Regional forums will be held in fall/winter 2025 and early 2026, offering foster families opportunities to connect directly with their local OCS offices and leadership.
For more information, contact the Alaska Center for Resource Families. There is no cost to attend the Foster Forum. Learn more or register at acrf.org.
