The Kenai and Homer Soil & Water Conservation Districts we will give a brief presentation to outline the weed-free gravel pit certification process, timelines, and how we can assist you in maintaining weed-free standards. A seasoned pit certifier will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the program.

Weed-free gravel is a value-added product that will limit the spread of noxious or undesirable weeds across Alaska’s beautiful landscape. The certification program is voluntary and administered by the Alaska Department of Natural Resources Agriculture Division.
