Join Tsalteshi Trails Association for a preseason ski skills training session at 1 p.m. Aug. 17. Ski season is around the corner — start getting in shape with training tips from our ski coaches. Learn skills, drills and exercises you can practice now to be ready when it snows. Bring classic ski poles (or trekking poles). Meet at the Skyview Trailhead, behind Skyview Middle School in Soldotna. The event is free and open to the public. Registration in advance is not necessary.
