Soldotna Chamber of Commerce Scholarships for 2023-2024

The Soldotna Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee is currently accepting applications for a total of nine (9) scholarships:

• Two (2) $1,000 Awards will be granted to graduates from Soldotna area high schools including public, private, or home-schooled.
• Two (2) $1,500 Awards will be awarded to graduates from Soldotna area high schools including public, private, or home-schooled in Vera Howarth’s name (Under the Vera Howarth Memorial Scholarship).
• One (1) $1,000 Award is available to Kenai Peninsula residents who are currently enrolled in colleges, universities, or trade schools (in or out of state) in Rosie Reeder’s Name (Under the Rosie Reeder Continuing Education Scholarship).
• Four (4) $3,750 Awards under the new “Community Cares CTE” Scholarship will be awarded to students continuing their education in a career and technical education-related field. All Kenai Peninsula students (ages 17-24) who are registered or planning to attend a career or technical education institution, training, or certification program are encouraged to apply!

Applications can be completed online or printed and then, emailed to sara@soldotnachamber.com or dropped off at the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce no later than 5 pm on Friday, March 22nd, 2024. The deadline falls after Spring Break.
