Title: Spring Gardening Webinar Series

Did you miss the Alaskan Gardening program?
Grow your gardening knowledge by participating in this webinar series! If you are unable to attend at home, come to the Soldotna Library to watch! Kenai Peninsula Cooperative Extension Service agent Casey Matney will teach a series of 11 gardening webinars to help get your garden ready for this year. The free classes will be held online via Zoom at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, from March 19 to May 28.
Topics include seed starting, soil testing, raised beds, planting potatoes, hardening off seedlings and transplanting them, as well as composting. Can’t make the class when it’s live? Preregister and you will be sent a link to watch the video later.

Hardcover books are only $1. We have a beautiful assortment of baskets for $1 each. Buy one of our heavy canvas book bags for $20 and fill it with books for free. Refill it at every book sale for $5. This is an incredible bargain - these bags hold a lot of books.
