The KPC Showcase presents: A Celebration of 60 Years at KPC
Join us for a look back on six decades of KPC, from its humble beginnings to where it stands today, with an outlook to the future.
This presentation and panel discussion will feature local journalists and historians, Clark Fair and Tony Lewis, as well as three current and previous KPC Directors: Ginger Steffy, Gary Turner, and Dr. Cheryl Siemers.
Fair and Lewis are the authors of Keeping the Fire Burning: A 50-Year History of Kenai Peninsula College. Ginger Steffy began teaching at KPC in 1972 and was Director from 1987 until 2002. Gary Turner became Director in 2002 and served until 2020. Dr. Cheryl Siemers is the current KPC Director.
The public is invited, Thursday, October 24, 6PM, in the McLane Commons, Kenai Peninsula College, Kenai River Campus.
