May the fourth be with you! Celebrate Star Wars Week by going on an intergalactic scavenger hunt through the library all week long! Visit far, far, far, galaxies across the building to find the famous characters and answer their space riddle.

Keep the celebration going for Mother's Day with a special Storytime! Join us for some stories and songs followed by a short craft time.
Join us every Monday in the Front Conference Room to build awesome Lego® sculptures! Each week a new theme and challenge will help spark your imagination. We will also have a dollhouse open and available each week in the same room! Bring your own doll or play with ours.
May 12 Tuesday
Intended for young children ages birth to three years and their parents or caregivers, this program focuses on early language and social skills through fun stories, songs, and play time.
Tech time is available at the Kenai Community Library for anyone with basic technology questions. We can help you with: basic computer skills, accessing library resources, how to access eBooks and Audiobooks, using devices such as eReaders, tablets, and smartphones, digital photos, social media, and email. *We do not take apart or repair devices, assist with financial transactions, or handle malware/viruses. While we will do our best to assist you with your technology needs, these are offered to allow you to expand your skills, not as a replacement for commercial tech support. Appointments required.
Join us after Wee Read or Preschool Storytime for playtime! The toy bin will be available, along with coloring sheets, sensory bins, and more to promote social emotional learning skills.
Stop by the library to make a cat scratcher to take home or donate to the Kenai Animal Shelter!
May 13 Wednesday
This Storytime for preschoolers, ages 3 to 5, includes stories, songs, activities, and rhymes specially designed to support reading readiness and foster social skills.
Do you love reading Graphic Novels? This club is for you! Join us for our Comics Club! This is an informal book club for kids who love all things comics. There is no required reading. This is a time to socialize, read, draw, and learn about the world of comics. During this session, we'll look at various historical-fiction comics and make one of our own.
May 14 Thursday
Designed with our newest readers in mind! Join us for word exercises and a chapter book read-aloud. We will be reading selections of the “Magic Tree House” series by Mary Pope Osborne. Intended for ages 5-10. *Please Note: May 14th will be our final Early Reader's Book Club session for the summer and will resume in September.
