Do you love reading Graphic Novels? This club is for you! Join us for our Comics Club! This is an informal book club for kids who love all things comics. There is no required reading. This is a time to socialize, read, draw, and learn about the world of comics. During this session, we'll talk about our favorite comics while learning how to draw famous character’s from Dav Pilkey’s Dogman series!
Do you like playing chess, or would you like to learn how? We’re proud to offer a casual chess program for all ages and levels. Staff availability for instruction varies, so please contact the front desk if interested. Boards are provided.
Explore how essential oils work in soap through simple scent science and blending principles. This hands-on class covers safe usage, scent balance, and how fragrance behaves in melt-and-pour soap. Participants will create a custom soap while learning why some scents work better than others. This class is designed for adults and teens. Registration Required.

Designed with our newest readers in mind! Join us for word exercises and a chapter book read-aloud. We will be reading selections of the “Magic Tree House” series by Mary Pope Osborne. Intended for ages 5-10.
Join us after Wee Read or Preschool Storytime for playtime! The toy bin will be available, along with coloring sheets, sensory bins, and more to promote social emotional learning skills.
Tech time is available at the Kenai Community Library for anyone with basic technology questions. We can help you with: basic computer skills, accessing library resources, how to access eBooks and audiobooks, using devices such as eReaders, tablets, and smartphones, digital photos, social media, and email. *We do not take apart or repair devices, assist with financial transactions, or handle malware/viruses. While we will do our best to assist you with your technology needs, these are offered to allow you to expand your skills, not as a replacement for commercial tech support. Appointments required.
This month we’ll be testing our construction skills and building paper bridges to see how much weight they can support. Designed for a variety of experience levels ages 8 to 14.
