A cohort of local representatives were in Juneau last week for the Alaska Municipal League legislative conference, where they spoke with lawmakers about the issues that matter most to their communities back home.
Several members of the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly were there. We spoke with three of them — Jesse Bjorkman, who represents Nikiski on the assembly; Bill Elam, representing Sterling and Funny River; and Brent Johnson, who represents the central peninsula.
They spoke to us on this week's Kenai Conversation about their time in Juneau and the assembly's priorities this spring.
