Open to elementary students in the Kenai Peninsula Borough, Municipality of Anchorage, and Mat-Su Borough school districts. One winner chosen per region.

Winning artwork will also be featured in ENSTAR's 2027 Safe Digging Calendar!

Hey There community builders- BuildUp, the central peninsula’s local building materials thrift store, is growing and we need you! If you are about creating good things, keeping usable materials out of the landfill and making our community shine brighter join us as a volunteer or a board member.

Learn how to paint a cute panda in a bamboo forest! We'll supply the paint, canvas, and snacks - all you need is your imagination! This painting class will focus more specifically on how to layer paint to create your perfect masterpiece. Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration is required as supplies are limited.

It's not too late to decide to host an AFS exchange student. There are students from all over the world who would love to be part of your family for a year, including students on scholarships from Germany and Flex Scholarship students as well. This Storytime for preschoolers, ages 3 to 5, includes stories, songs, activities, and rhymes specially designed to support reading readiness and foster social skills.

Join us after Wee Read or Preschool Storytime for playtime! The toy bin will be available, along with coloring sheets, sensory bins, and more to promote social emotional learning skills.
