Intended for young children ages birth to three years and their parents or caregivers, this program focuses on early language and social skills through fun stories, songs, and play time.

We can help you with:

• Accessing library resources
• How to access eBooks and Audiobooks

Learn about how black holes affect space and time while playing some fun marble games at the Library. Can you unlock the four secrets of Orbit and discover the Friction Mystery? Invent your own gravity game to share with others. This program is designed for ages 6 and up.

Get your game on!
Do you have what it takes to be crowned the champion of the tracks? See how you stack up against other players as we fire up the Nintendo Switch and see who has the skills!
Must be 8 or older to compete. Registration is required.

SCA Fighting Demos
Thursday, June 12 and June 26 from 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Come learn about games of combat and climbing medieval ranks through live action recreation! The Shire of Hrafnafjordr, from the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA), invites you to join us! We will have combat demos, as well as information about how to join in and connect, not just through combat, but also through the Arts & Sciences, service, and medieval study.

Pickle Hill Public Broadcasting's Board of Directors meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Thursday of the month at the KDLL studios in the Kenai Peninsula Economic Development District Building at 14896 Kenai Spur Hwy, Suite 303, and via Zoom. Certified yoga instructor Giselle Lambert offers a friendly flow yoga class for the community, suitable for all levels, beginner through advanced, at 6 p.m. Thursdays in June at Tsalteshi Trails. Bring your own yoga mat or towel. A free will donation will be collected to support Tsalteshi youth programs.

Giselle Lambert completed her 200-hour training through Anchorage Yoga and has additional training in restorative yoga and myofascial release and is pursuing somatic practitioner certification.

A 50501 “No Kings” Civic Walk and Public Assembly will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, June 14 at Soldotna Creek Park and ending at the “Y” intersection (Sterling Hwy & Kenai Spur Hwy) in Soldotna.

Description:

A peaceful, public civic walk and community gathering open to all. Participants will meet at Soldotna Creek Park at 1:00 PM and walk together to the Y intersection in Soldotna. Those unable to walk are welcome to meet directly at the Y. The event is non-partisan and focused on encouraging civic engagement and democratic participation.
