Join us at the Kenai Community Library for a fun event to decorate pumpkins with spooky supplies (no carving). The first 20 kids get a free pumpkin, or bring your own. Children under 8 must be with an adult. Ask us about how to enter your pumpkin in the Pumpkin Festival!

The Kenai Central High School Nordic Ski Team is hosting a sports and outdoor gear swap on Saturday, Oct. 11, in the KCHS auditorium commons. Bring new and used gear of all types, including skis, boots, poles, snowshoes, hockey gear and camping equipment to drop offs on Oct. 10 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. or Oct. 11 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Come purchase gear from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be a Meet & Greet event for Tom Begich on October 12th at River City Books from 4:30PM-6PM.Please come by, meet Mr. Begich and chat with him about his vision for Alaska.

Join us every Monday in the Front Conference Room to build awesome Lego® sculptures! Each week a new theme and challenge will help spark your imagination. We will also have a dollhouse open and available each week in the same room! Bring your own doll or play with ours.

Intended for young children ages birth to three years and their parents or caregivers, this program focuses on early language and social skills through fun stories, songs, and play time.
Tech time is available at the Kenai Community Library for anyone with basic technology questions. We can help you with:• Basic computer skills• Accessing library resources• How to access eBooks and Audiobooks• Using devices such as eReaders, tablets, and smartphones• Digital photos• Social media• Email*We do not take apart or repair devices, assist with financial transactions, or handle malware/viruses. While we will do our best to assist you with your technology needs, these are offered to allow you to expand your skills, not as a replacement for commercial tech support. Appointments required.

This Story Time for preschoolers, ages 3 to 5, includes stories, songs, activities, and rhymes specially designed to support reading readiness and foster social skills.
Join us after Wee Read or Preschool Storytime for playtime! The toy bin will be available, along with coloring sheets, sensory bins, and more to promote social emotional learning skills.
Learn about acrylic painting in this 4-week, beginner-friendly series! Local artist Mary Miller will guide participants through different techniques and designs to help build skills and confidence with painting. Friends, family, and program partners are invited to view your works of art at the Art Gallery on November 5th.
