Help Tsalteshi trim our trees for the community Tree Ski later in December! Join the Tsalteshi crew at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 to decorate trees along the Moose Loop. Meet at the TTA maintenance building behind the Skyview Pool. Help with TTA's decorations or bring your own. We'll have extendable poles, ladders and sleds available to use. Questions? And join us for the Tsalteshi Tree Ski 1-3 p.m. Dec. 27 at the Skyview Trailhead. The Moose Loop will be open to skiing, snowshoes, kick sleds and walking. (Usually the trails behind Skyview are closed to anything but skiing, but we make an exception for this event.) Hot drinks and a bonfire. The event is free and open to everyone, no registration required.More info here.
The Kenai Peninsula Orchestra will be presenting their annual Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 13th, at 3:00 pm, at the Kenai High School Auditorium. The cost is $15 for adults and free for students 17 and under.They will also present a concert in Homer the following day, Sunday, December 14th, at 3:00 pm, at Homer High School.

Intended for young children ages birth to three years and their parents or caregivers, this program focuses on early language and social skills through fun stories, songs, and play time.
Tech time is available at the Kenai Community Library for anyone with basic technology questions. We can help you with:• Basic computer skills• Accessing library resources• How to access eBooks and Audiobooks• Using devices such as eReaders, tablets, and smartphones• Digital photos• Social media• Email*We do not take apart or repair devices, assist with financial transactions, or handle malware/viruses. While we will do our best to assist you with your technology needs, these are offered to allow you to expand your skills, not as a replacement for commercial tech support. Appointments required.
Repurpose & refresh used clothes by Tie dyeing them. Jen Lutron, master tie dyer, leads the events held on third Tuesdays of the month at The Goods from 4-7pm. Bring some new or used clothes, or Jen has some you may use.
A paint and sip for kids! Ages 6 and up are invited to join us for a cup of hot cocoa and a step-by-step tutorial where we will paint a festive Polar Bear. All supplies will be provided. Registration is required as supplies are limited.

This Story Time for preschoolers, ages 3 to 5, includes stories, songs, activities, and rhymes specially designed to support reading readiness and foster social skills.
Join us after Wee Read or Preschool Storytime for playtime! The toy bin will be available, along with coloring sheets, sensory bins, and more to promote social emotional learning skills.
