Join us for a special Storytime with guest readers! We’ll be joined by nurses from the Kenai Public Health Center to read some stories and discuss healthy habits for your little ones.This month, we’ll be focusing on nutrition and healthy eating!
Join us for our Bouncing Babies lapsit story time! Stay and play after the program and make new friends! This program is designed for 18 months and younger. Families are welcome!
Teen Lounge is a weekly hang-out program for teens aged 13-18. Join us for video games, board games, study sessions, crafts, and other fun activities EVERY WEDNESDAY!

Used book and Art Sale in the library basement bookstore. Gently used books and art are available at bargain prices. Paperback books are 25 cents each or 5 for $1. Hardcover books are only $1. We have a wonderful selection of children's books, jigsaw puzzles, DVD's, CD's, and more. All proceeds go to support the many programs offered at our library.
Self Serve Book Shopping: The BOOK SALE SHELF in the library foyer is always well stocked with a wonderful selection of books. Shop anytime the library is open. Place your money in the donation box on the side of the book shelf.
We are accepting book and art donations, but no magazines please. Contact Vicki Johnston-Freese at (907) 262-6221 or email her at KenaiLibrarian48@gmail.com. She will be happy to meet you at the library back door with a cart to help unload your items. This is recycling at its best.

Talk shop with fellow houseplant enthusiasts and bring home something new. Potted plants, propagations, seedlings, and cuttings are all welcome. Please include a label for the type of plant and care instructions, and make sure it's bug-free. The Anchorage Bowl Chamber Orchestra's 12th Annual Kenai Peninsula Tour! At Gwin's Lodge in Cooper Landing Thursday 5/28 at 7:30pm! Performing works by José L. Elizondo, Edward MacDowell, and music from anime series such as Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, and Fullmetal Alchemist. This event is free, open to the public, and suitable for all ages. Donations are gratefully accepted.

Visit the library to celebrate the start of our annual Summer Reading Program, Plant a Seed, Read! During our kick off, we'll have stations for all ages to create and explore, as well as sweet treats and refreshments to enjoy!
May 30 Saturday
Come team up with Kenai Parks and Recreation to elevate the city's flower beds for the upcoming Summer!
All ages are welcome; no experience is necessary. Just bring your gloves and help bring color and life to our city’s flower beds.
Following planting efforts, Lunch will be hosted at the Kenai Fire Station for ALL planting volunteers.
Bonus: Groups can reserve time to plant a community flower bed with the city park staff in the days leading up to the main event. This opportunity is available from May 26 –29. To reserve a time, contact Kenai Parks & Recreation at 907-283-8262, or Email parks@kenai.city
