Community Calendar

Join us every Wednesday starting July 8th to learn how to code! No coding experience is required to join, and each session is self-paced. We'll be using Fiero Code to learn how to make everything from video games to websites and everything between! Registration is only required if you would like to use a Library computer during the club. If you plan on bringing your own laptop, you do not need to register. Recommended for ages 8-18.

Teen Lounge is a weekly hang-out program for teens aged 13-18. Join us for video games, board games, study sessions, crafts, and other fun activities EVERY WEDNESDAY!

This summer we've explored various different topics of growing - whether it's plants, animals, or our minds! We invite the community to stop by the library and share how you've grown this summer. You can share something you learned, explored, or what you hope to see grow in the coming years.

We are excited to share stories, sing songs, and explore other learning fun together EVERY THURSDAY at the library!

Wackadoo! Join us for a party celebrating everyone’s favorite blue heeler. There will be Bluey themed treats and crafts for the whole family, along with a storytime! Registration recommended to reserve an activity book!

Tsalteshi Trails has its annual Soldotna Cycle Series mountain bike races Thursdays, July 9-Aug. 13. Choose a 6K or 12K race. All ages and skill level of riders welcome, as long as you can complete a 6K course in an hour. In-person registration and bib pickup starts at 5:45 p.m. and the race starts at 6:15 p.m. Trailheads vary, check Tsalteshi Trails on Facebook for each week's location.
