Harvest Moon Local Food Festival!

The Harvest Moon Local Food Festival is the Kenai Peninsula’s biggest one-day farmers market and local food celebration. The festival spotlights local Alaskans who grow, harvest and produce a wide variety of Alaska Grown and Made in Alaska food and wellness products. This event is free for the whole family and includes fun activities for kids and grown-ups alike. We have live music, featuring KP Brass Band at 5 pm, cooking demonstrations, educational talks, food trucks, the popular Fermentation Station, wild edibles walks, and a pie baking contest hosted by the local Farm Bureau.

Pickle Hill Public Broadcasting's Board of Directors meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Thursday of the month at the KDLL studios in the Kenai Peninsula Economic Development District Building at 14896 Kenai Spur Hwy, Suite 303, and via Zoom. Repurpose & refresh used clothes by Tie dyeing them. Jen Lutron, master tie dyer, leads the events held on third Tuesdays of the month at The Goods from 4-7pm. Bring some new or used clothes, or Jen has some you may use.
