Kenai Conversation: Celebrating 25 years of the Kenai Watershed Forum

The Kenai Watershed Forum turns 25 this year.

In the late 1990s, KWF was a group of Kenai-area residents who came together over their shared concern about the Kenai River. Today, the nonprofit is focused on conserving the river and its watershed through research, education and research.

Our guests this week represent the forum’s past and present.

Catherine Cassidy was part of KWF’s founding team and was the first KWF board chair. Robert Ruffner was the forum’s first ever employee and its director of almost 20 years. And Branden Bornemann is the forum's executive director today.
