A Soldotna resident is killed in a moose-related crash Tuesday. The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District’s Title VI office is now accepting submissions for its first-ever Indigenous Language Film Festival. And Homer News Editor Michael Armstrong is leaving the paper after more than two decades there.

Sabine Poux is the news director at KDLL. Originally from New York, she's lived and reported in Argentina and Vermont, where she fell in love with local news.
