The Alaska Community Forest Council is offering Arbor Day grants. Grants from $200 to $500 can be used to plant trees or shrubs or support other activities that promote Arbor Day in Alaska, on May 18. The grants are aimed at local governments, schools and nonprofit organizations. Grant applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. March 20.
