This Storytime for preschoolers, ages 3 to 5, includes stories, songs, activities, and rhymes specially designed to support reading readiness and foster social skills.

Join us for a special Storytime with guest readers! We’ll be joined by nurses from the Kenai Public Health Center to read some stories and discuss healthy habits for your little ones.
This month, we’ll be focusing on nutrition and healthy eating!

Used book and Art Sale in the library basement bookstore. Gently used books and art are available at bargain prices. Paperback books are 25 cents each or 5 for $1. Hardcover books are only $1. We have a wonderful selection of children's books, jigsaw puzzles, DVD's, CD's, and more. All proceeds go to support the many programs offered at our library.

Self Serve Book Shopping: The BOOK SALE SHELF in the library foyer is always well stocked with a wonderful selection of books. Shop anytime the library is open. Place your money in the donation box on the side of the book shelf.

We are accepting book and art donations, but no magazines please. Contact Vicki Johnston-Freese at (907) 262-6221 or email her at KenaiLibrarian48@gmail.com. She will be happy to meet you at the library back door with a cart to help unload your items. This is recycling at its best.

Talk shop with fellow houseplant enthusiasts and bring home something new. Potted plants, propagations, seedlings, and cuttings are all welcome. Please include a label for the type of plant and care instructions, and make sure it's bug-free. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just starting your plant journey, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss!

Visit the library to celebrate the start of our annual Summer Reading Program, Plant a Seed, Read!
During our kick off, we'll have stations for all ages to create and explore, as well as sweet treats and refreshments to enjoy!

Stop by our community room to make a craft and/or play a board game! Supplies and instructions provided for the crafts, just bring your imagination! Board games are also provided.

This is a drop-in style program. Help us plan for supplies by registering online or by calling 907-262-4227.

Repurpose & refresh used clothes by Tie dyeing them. Jen Lutron, master tie dyer, leads the events held on third Tuesdays of the month at The Goods from 4-7pm. Bring some new or used clothes, or Jen has some you may use.
