Designed with our newest readers in mind! Join us for word exercises and a chapter book read-aloud. We will be reading selections of the “Magic Tree House” series by Mary Pope Osborne. Intended for ages 5-10.
Teen Lounge is a weekly hang-out program for teens ages 13-17. Join us for video games, board games, NERF® battles, study sessions, crafts, and other fun activities EVERY WEDNESDAY!
Do you like playing chess, or would you like to learn how? We’re proud to offer a casual chess program for all ages and levels. Staff availability for instruction varies, so please contact the front desk if interested. Boards are provided.

We are excited to share stories, sing songs, and explore other learning fun together EVERY THURSDAY at the Soldotna Library!
Join us to learn about the science behind how we see color. We will be making a spinning color wheel & color mixing with tissue paper.
Most of the science learning will happen in the first 15 minutes of the program. We will start promptly at 4pm. Supplies are limited so please register early.
This program is designed for kids ages 5 and up.
All are welcome to attend a hands-on cooking class by Joy at Fresh 365 with the Kenai Local Food Connection, where we’ll learn about growing and cooking mushrooms. Walk-ins of all ages are welcome to watch the demonstration and join in the tasting. To cook alongside the chef, adults can register to reserve a station.
