It's not too late to decide to host an AFS exchange student. There are students from all over the world who would love to be part of your family for a year, including students on scholarships from Germany and Flex Scholarship students as well. Join us for Lego club every Tuesday. Build a Lego Challenge or do a free build. All ages welcome. All children under 10 must have supervision.
Learn about all things seeds! We will be joined by the Kenai Soil and Water Conservation District to dive into the science of seeds, including how to plant them in our own pots outside the kids' spot! Registration is required.
The Kenai Community Library is partnering with the Food Bank of Alaska and distributing FREE pre-packaged lunches to all children 18 and under. No requirements, all kids welcome! We will provide a non-congregate meal service this year, meaning that during this distribution time, each child picks up 7 meals to eat at home throughout the next week. Child must be present to pick up meals. This program begins on May 26th and ends on August 11th. This program is made possible by the Food Bank of Alaska. This institution and its partners are equal opportunity providers.

This Storytime for preschoolers, ages 3 to 5, includes stories, songs, activities, and rhymes specially designed to support reading readiness and foster social skills.
Stop by our community room to make a craft and/or play a board game! Supplies and instructions provided for the crafts, just bring your imagination! Board games are also provided.
Join us for Little Recipes, our new cooking program for little chefs aged 6 and under! This interactive program invites young ones on a delicious adventure to learn simple recipes and practice fine motor skills in a safe environment. This month, we'll being creating our own salads with homemade dressing! Dress for the mess recommended. *We cannot guarantee that food served at this program has not come into contact with tree nuts, soy, or other allergens.
Join us every Wednesday to learn how to code! No coding experience is required to join, and each session is self-paced. We'll be using Fiero Code to learn how to make everything from video games to websites and everything between! Registration is only required if you would like to use a Library computer during the club. If you plan on bringing your own laptop, you do not need to register. Recommended for ages 8-18.
