Teen Lounge is a weekly hang-out program for teens aged 13-18. Join us for video games, board games, study sessions, crafts, and other fun activities EVERY WEDNESDAY!
It's not too late to decide to host an AFS exchange student. There are students from all over the world who would love to be part of your family for a year, including students on scholarships from Germany and Flex Scholarship students as well. Hey There community builders- BuildUp, the central peninsula’s local building materials thrift store, is growing and we need you! If you are about creating good things, keeping usable materials out of the landfill and making our community shine brighter join us as a volunteer or a board member. We are excited to share stories, sing songs, and explore other learning fun together EVERY THURSDAY at the library!
Stop by our community room to make a craft and/or play a board game! Supplies and instructions provided for the crafts, just bring your imagination! Board games are also provided.

Interested in learning about gardening? You are invited to meet with Steve Latz to learn more about growing flowers and vegetables. This program will be a round table where Steve will focus on sharing his experiences with growing food for the table and flowers for eye candy. Discussion topics will include home garden/greenhouse/high tunnel and suggestions to maximize your return on investment. He will share the successes and failures he has learned from experience. Steve is a lifelong gardener who wants to share his knowledge and encourage you to experiment with your growing operation. Please join him and start growing!
