A music class for little ones! We will experiment with some different instrument sounds and practice our rhythms together. This class is designed for kids 3-6 years old.

Join us every Monday in the Front Conference Room to build awesome Lego® sculptures! Each week a new theme and challenge will help spark your imagination. We will also have a dollhouse open and available each week in the same room! Bring your own doll or play with ours.

The Resilient Alaska Youth Program is currently looking for new community partners and Youth Activity Coordinators across Alaska. If your community would like to offer safe, supportive afterschool and summer activities for youth ages 5 to 18, the RAY Program can help bring those opportunities to your area. RAY partners with schools, Tribal organizations, community centers, and other local organizations to provide youth programs that promote leadership, cultural engagement, recreation, academic enrichment, and healthy connections. We're also recruiting Youth Activity Coordinators. These local leaders serve as positive role models and help organize and lead activities that reflect the strengths and interests of their communities. Intended for young children ages birth to three years and their parents or caregivers, this program focuses on early language and social skills through fun stories, songs, and play time.

Tech time is available at the Kenai Community Library for anyone with basic technology questions. We can help you with: basic computer skills, accessing library resources, how to access eBooks and audiobooks, using devices such as eReaders, tablets, and smartphones, digital photos, social media, and email. *We do not take apart or repair devices, assist with financial transactions, or handle malware/viruses. Appointments required.

Join us after Wee Read or Preschool Storytime for playtime! The toy bin will be available, along with coloring sheets, sensory bins, and more to promote social emotional learning skills.

This month’s theme: Mysteries! From cozies to thrillers to true crime, mysteries are all around! Read whatever mystery sparks your interest. We'll discuss the books we chose, then pick theme for December.

For Fire Prevention Week, join us for a special Firefighter Storytime! We will be joined by firefighters from the Kenai Fire Department as we talk about fire safety, read stories, and sing songs! For ages 6 and under.
