Retired Kenai attorney Peter Ehrhardt was one of three Alaskans on the trial team for the plaintiffs in the Exxon Valdez oil spill litigation. Peter revisits memories of the trial for a new writing project, including the sense of victory in the initial $5 billion judgment against Exxon and the new precedents set in the judgment eventually being reduced to $500 million.
