Join us for a music workshop with THE LINGONBERRIES! Based out of Kodiak, The Lingonberries are a brother and sister duo that perform a mixture of genres with guitar, piano, loop station, beatbox, keytar, and more. They also specialize in offering a variety of music lessons to explore the creative process of making music! During this workshop, learn to use your own creative ideas and make music from scratch. No experience is required to make something cool and meaningful! Use your voice, instruments, and ideas to create beats, songs, and score on the spot. This class is open to ages 6-12. Registration is required as space is limited.
Teen Lounge is a weekly hang-out program for teens aged 13-18. Join us for video games, board games, study sessions, crafts, and other fun activities EVERY WEDNESDAY!
It's not too late to decide to host an AFS exchange student. There are students from all over the world who would love to be part of your family for a year, including students on scholarships from Germany and Flex Scholarship students as well. One jar, one plant, no crazy pumps or filters. Learn one of the simplest hydroponic methods and grow fresh greens in no time. The Kratky method of hydroponics is a "set-it-and-forget-it" technique, where you let the plant do all the work for you. The first 20 registrants will get to assemble their own setup to take home enjoy.

About resource family orientationOrientation is the first step to becoming a foster or adoptive parent in Alaska. Join us for a presentation about becoming a foster parent for the Office of Children’s Services. Licensing staff will be in attendance to answer questions.

Explain the mission and function of the Office of Children’s Services (OCS)Define the term “resource family”Outline the steps to become licensedReview the application processClarify available supports
