Wee Read
Tuesdays from 10:30am–11:00am
Intended for young children ages birth to three years and their parents or caregivers, this program focuses on early language and social skills through fun stories, songs, and play time.

Tech Time
Tuesdays from 11:00am–1:00pm
Tech time is available at the Kenai Community Library for anyone with basic technology questions.
We can help you with:
• Basic computer skills
• Accessing library resources
• How to access eBooks and Audiobooks
• Using devices such as eReaders, tablets, and smartphones
• Digital photos
• Social media
• Email
*We do not take apart or repair devices, assist with financial transactions, or handle malware/viruses. All Day 7/21–7/26 and 7/28-8/2
We've been hearing some odd sounds around the library and hearing stories of tall, hairy creatures sneaking between the stacks. Visit the library and search for the squatches during our open hours!

DIY Dice Bag
Tuesday, July 22 from 5:30pm–6:30pm
Level Up your sewing this year and learn how to make an opulent dice bag for your dice. Sewing experience recommended. This program is designed for adults and registration is required.

Minute to Win It: Library Edition
Thursday, July 24 from 4:00pm–5:00pm
Come test your skills with friends and family at the library! Compete in a variety of wild games that will test your balance, patience, and precision! From eating a cookie with no hands to stacking cups, there will be something to challenge everyone. You have one minute to win it! Recommended for ages 6-12 and their families.

Crafternoon - Kokedama
Thursday, July 24 from 5:30pm–6:45pm
Join other adults for a different arts and crafts workshop every month and make something fun to take home! This month we will be potting a plant inside a moss ball, also known as a kokedama. Beginners welcome! Registration is required.

The Kenai Peninsula Beer Festival is 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 26 at Soldotna Creek Park, featuring craft brews from around the state, food trucks and live music with headliner Ellie and the Echoes. Description: The Soldotna Library and Parks & Rec have teamed up to bring you a fun twist on your regular Story Time! Join us for an outdoor story time then play time on the first Monday of each month this summer. All ages are welcome!

Join Tsalteshi Trails Association for a hiking training walk at 6 p.m. July 28, at the Wolverine Trailhead, across K-Beach Road from the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex. Laura Gerber, a physical therapist with Alaska Aquatic and Rehab Therapy, offers tips for avoiding and overcoming injuries and getting in shape for hiking. The hike is free and open to the public.
