Kenai Conversation: Seward Salmon & Song Festival

Ways To Subscribe

Over the years, Salmonfest has become a Kenai Peninsula summertime staple. The Ninilchik-based music festival aims to raise awareness about protecting Alaska's Bristol Bay salmon.

Now, event organizers have put together a similar environmental-themed music festival in Seward. The Seward Salmon & Song Festival, held at Miller's Landing, aims to support the chinook salmon run in Resurrection Bay. It also coincides with the Seward Mermaid Festival.

On this week's Kenai Conversation, we're chatting with organizers of both events.
